NCOR1, also known as Nuclear Receptor Corepressor 1, is a critical regulator of gene expression and transcriptional repression. Positioned predominantly within the nucleus of cells, NCOR1 plays a pivotal role in modulating the activity of nuclear receptors and other transcription factors.
