Positioned primarily within the cytoplasm of cells, SLK plays a pivotal role in regulating various cellular processes, including cell proliferation, survival, migration, and cytoskeletal organization. One of the distinguishing features of SLK is its involvement in signaling pathways that govern cell morphology and motility.
