What is HbA1c?
HbA1c, also known as glycated haemoglobin, is a vital indicator to understand your average blood sugar level over the past three months. Unlike regular blood sugar tests, which provide only a snapshot, HbA1c offers a more comprehensive view of how your blood sugar has fluctuated over time. This is especially important as the lifespan of a red blood cell is approximately four months.
