Refund and Return Policies

General Terms and Conditions GetTested offers a wide range of health analyses to individuals and companies. We collaborate with several subcontractors specializing in medical laboratory operations for the analysis of samples.

To order our analyses, you must be at least 18 years old; individuals under the age of 18 need parental consent. GetTested is not a substitute for traditional healthcare. In case of any problems, you should always contact a healthcare professional. By placing your order, you accept our terms of purchase.

Test Results

You will receive your test results digitally through the account you created when registering your test. Turnaround times vary depending on the analysis, and information about the expected response time can be found on the respective product page.

You as the customer are responsible for registering your unique test ID in order to access your test results. All test results are sent encrypted with ID verification for maximum security.


Shipping and Delivery Terms

Shipping costs apply.

Our products are shipped to the address provided at checkout. You as the customer are responsible for ensuring that all address details are correct and complete.

If you have not received your order, we recommend first tracking the package through the carrier, such as Instabox or PostNord. Please also verify that the address in your order confirmation is correct, including house number and apartment number where applicable.

If you have not received your delivery within 10 business days, please contact us via chat for the fastest assistance.

Package Marked as Delivered or Delivered to the Wrong Address

If the tracking information shows the package as delivered but you have not received it, or if the package has been delivered to the wrong address, you must contact us within two weeks from the date the package was marked as delivered.

This also applies if the address details provided at the time of ordering were correct.

If we are contacted within this time period, we can investigate the matter further and, if applicable, offer a replacement shipment.


Incomplete Address

If the address on the order is incomplete and delivery therefore could not be completed, you must contact us within two weeks for further assistance.

If we are contacted within this time period, we may resend the order, but you as the customer will be responsible for the new shipping cost.

If you instead prefer a refund, we offer a 50% refund of the order value.


Prices and Payment

All prices are stated in SEK including VAT.

Payments are processed through Stripe, and we accept VISA, Mastercard, and AMEX.


Right of Withdrawal

As a customer, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal. The withdrawal period begins from the day you received your order according to the tracking link in your delivery confirmation.

The right of withdrawal for laboratory tests only applies if the test has not been sent to the laboratory for analysis.

The right of withdrawal for rapid tests only applies to unused tests with unbroken packaging.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, please contact us via the chatbot on our website for further instructions.

If the product is not returned complete and in its original condition, we reserve the right to deduct an amount corresponding to the material cost from the refund.

In the event of an approved withdrawal, we will issue your refund within 30 days from the date the item was received according to the order tracking link. Shipping and return costs are paid by the customer and are non-refundable.


Returns – Rapid Tests

Only unopened test kits with intact seals may be returned. Broken seals mean that no refund can be offered.

Returns are accepted within 14 days from delivery.

Please include the order receipt or write the order number and return date inside the package.

Complaints – Damaged or Missing Parts

Do not return the test kit.

Instead, contact customer support via email and include:

  • Order number

Canceling an Order That Has Been Shipped but Not Yet Received

If you wish to cancel or return an order that has already been shipped but not yet received, please contact our support team to determine whether this is possible.

We cannot guarantee that an order can be stopped or returned, as this depends on the shipping carrier and how far the shipment has progressed in the delivery process.

If the package can be redirected back to us, a fee of 50 SEK will apply. This fee will be deducted from the refund amount for the returned product. Shipping costs are non-refundable for canceled or returned shipments.

If the package cannot be redirected, you may contact us once you have received the delivery if you wish to make a return.


Unregistered Test

If you send in a laboratory test for analysis without registering it, the test will be discarded, as the laboratory cannot analyze unregistered tests.

If you contact us within 2 months from the date the test was sent in, we can send a new test kit for a fee of 100 SEK plus shipping.

After 2 months, a new test must be purchased at full price.

For DNA tests with longer analysis times, the same conditions apply after 4 months.


Important Information Regarding Rapid Tests

Rapid tests provide a preliminary screening result and are intended to indicate whether further investigation may be necessary.

Although the tests are reliable when used correctly, they do not replace laboratory diagnostics. A complete medical diagnosis should always be made by a healthcare provider based on clinical evaluation and, where applicable, confirmatory laboratory testing.

Differences between rapid test results and subsequent laboratory test results may occur due to factors such as timing of sample collection, test sensitivity, or biological variation.

A positive result from a rapid test should always be interpreted as an indication that further testing is needed — not as a definitive diagnosis.

For confirmation and proper medical guidance, we strongly recommend contacting a healthcare provider.

Tests displaying the control line (C) are considered valid, meaning the testing procedure functioned correctly.

Used and valid tests are considered consumed products and therefore cannot be returned or refunded.

We are not responsible for results affected by improper handling or failure to follow the provided instructions.

If all instructions have been followed correctly but your test does not display the control line (C) and produces an unclear result, please contact us and include a photo of the test cassette. Without a photo, we cannot determine whether the test is defective and therefore cannot offer compensation.
