What is the GetTested HPV Test?
The GetTested HPV Test is a quick test for detecting human papillomavirus (HPV), the most common viral infection of the reproductive organs. This test uses a lateral flow chromatographic immunoassay to qualitatively identify HPV antigens from cervical swab samples, which is a critical part of the screening process for cervical cancer, particularly caused by high-risk HPV types 16 and 18.
