How does the DNA Combo work?

You will receive only one test-kit and send in one sample, but from that one samle you will receive three different DNA reports of your choice. You select which reports you want after you’ve received your test kit. In the instructions pamphlet, step one is to register your Test ID, this is also when you select which reports you want.

How quickly will I receive my results?

Once we receive your sample, you can expect to get your results within 6-8 weeks.

When should I take the test?

The test can be collected at any time of the day.

Are there any DNA tests I can't choose?

Yes, you cannot choose DNA Methylation Plus, DNA Pharmacogenetics(PGx) and DNA Carrier Status/Family planning.

How do I select which three tests I want to do?

Once you have received your test kit and register the Test-ID. Then you will be guided to pick which three DNA tests you want to perform.

Collect the Sample: Use the provided test kit to easily collect a saliva sample at home.
Return the Sample: Place the sample in the prepaid return envelope and send it back to the GetTested laboratory.
The Results: Within 6-8 weeks of receiving your sample, we analyse your genes and generate a comprehensive response report.

Test Report and Recommendations

Once your results are ready, you will receive a comprehensive response report from GetTested explaining your genetic insights and what they mean for your health. In addition, the report includes personalised recommendations and strategies to optimise your health based on your genetic results.

About the Sample Material

The DNA and original sample material are destroyed after analysis, and there is no personal connection to the sample except for your unique test ID to which your test results are linked. The information is completely anonymised, and the lab has no knowledge of whom it belongs to. We do not give or sell the results to any third party. You also have the option to remove your test results after receiving them.
